He is obedient, great with people, and a peacemaker. He has a strong testimony of the Gospel and is not afraid to share it and to stand for what he believes. He loves the Lord and His gospel and his face shows that. His companion's mom just wrote to me "I love Elder Barrus' countenance. He has such a happy smile." I think people will be drawn to him.
Seth is the most outgoing person I know. Seriously. I'm pretty dang good that he has never said a negative thing when I've been around him. He doesn't give up easily and can't be dissuaded by anyone! He keeps trying until he finishes. That's why I love him!
Whoops already answered that question in the other question. He works hard and has a great attitude. But he also is genuinely interested in the people and their culture and cares for them.
Seth loves people and loves the Gospel. You can see it in his glow and everything he talks about and just who he is. Before he left he was ready and rarin' to go- his energy will definitely help, too. :)
I have always felt really comfortable around Seth. This may be because he is so nice and can connect well with others. I know as a missionary he will really try to connect with those that he comes in contact with and they will felt comfortable around him.

Seth is very real. He tries to be as true to himself as possible. I think that this is a great skill for a missionary to have because he will be put into situations all the time on his mission where the person opposite from him will be able to tell if he's not being sincere. He's also pretty good at basketball, so that means that he will draw people to the church with his amazing skills! Love you Elder! Keep working hard and know that we are praying for you.

ReplyDeleteSeth's a cheerful yet serious person. Who doesn't like him? He's a friendmaker. Seth gives lessons that make us laugh and learn.

He truly loves the Lord and loves other people. Charity is what will make him such a great missionary.
